We said goodbye to another spectacular year at Santa Barbara High School, having done not one, but two musicals (The Little Shop of Horrors and Anything Goes) and another wonderful student-produced Music of the Night. On closing night, May 8th we said goodbye to another stellar senior class, whose legacy spanned Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast and Hair, A Village Fable and Footloose, Pinocchio and Singing in the Rain...and we wish them well and send them off with love wherever they go...
Take the inimitable music of Cole Porter (You're the Top, It's DeLovely, Blow, Gabriel Blow) set aboard the ocean liner the S.S. American, add great characters (Reno Sweeney, Billy Crocker, Hope Harcourt, Evelyn Oakleigh, Moonface Martin, Public Enemy Number 13), and the stage is set for romance, comedy, and mistaken identity, in a romp on the high seas!
